Please note that we only take requests for reservations, cancellations and changes (dates, caravan/camper size, pets etc) by email – this ensures that there are no mistakes or misunderstandings.
For bookings made less than two calendar months before the day of arrival your deposit is non-refundable.
DEPOSITS, CHANGES AND CANCELLATION POLICY (INCLUDING ANY EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES, COVID RELATED REASONS AND/OR BORDER LOCKDOWNS)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DEPOSIT
To secure your reservation we require a deposit of:
- $200 if your booking is for 7 nights or more which will be retained and allocated to your last week’s site fees; or
- two nights site fees (base rate) if your booking is 6 nights or less.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel for any reason whatsoever and give us notice of:
- more than two calendar months prior to your booked arrival date we will refund your deposit less one night’s site fee (cancellation charge), or
- less than two calendar months prior to your booked arrival date then your deposit is forfeited. We do not give credits for cancelled bookings or carry over deposits or bookings to the next year.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Tarangau Caravan Park strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes cover for forfeiture of deposits upon cancellation of booking.
CHANGES
After you have paid your deposit:
- if you make a change for any reason to the dates of your reservation you will incur an administration charge of $20 for each change,
- if you make a change to the dates of your reservation less than two calendar months but more than 7 days prior to your booked arrival date which lessens the length of your reservation, you will also incur an additional administration charge of $10 per night for each night the length of your stay is shortened (up to $200), or
- if you make a change to the dates of your reservation 7 days or less prior to your booked arrival date which lessens the length of your reservation, you will forfeit all monies paid.
Please note if you shorten the length of your booking your site allocation is likely to be changed.
CHANGES ON OR AFTER BOOKED ARRIVAL DATE
If you change your departure date to an earlier date on or after your booked arrival date you will forfeit all monies paid.
NO SHOW
If you do not arrive on your booked arrival date, and do not contact us by email to advise us by 4pm the day prior to your booked arrival date, your whole reservation will be cancelled, and your deposit forfeited.
